Chandler Moody

Bio

Coach Moody has been coaching Linebackers at Carmel High School for 3 years. Previously he had a successful career in insurance while coaching football and basketball in the Carmel Dads Club. He was an All- State Linebacker in the state of Colorado in 1993 at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, CO. He went the University of Colorado as a preferred walk on and earned a scholarship while there. He played tight end, offensive guard and then made the switch to defensive line for the final three years. He was an Academic All Big 8, multi-time scout team player of the week, and leader of the kick off return team his senior year. He lettered all four years on both sides of the ball. While at the University of Colorado between 94-98 his class became the winningest class in Colorado history.His coaching philosophy is one of 360 development. His goal is to make kids into the best athlete, student, and mature man that they can be. The mindset change required to achieve great heights extends well past a defensive alignment. His desire is to foster a belief in the athletes to where they make better choices in life that put them in a position of success. He has a high standard of behavior and achievement for all of the kids that work with him.

When he’s not coaching he’s a husband to his wife, Jeri, a father to his daughter, Reagan (16) and his son, Luke (9) and a dog name Rocky. He is a business teacher in High School. He enjoys working at the church, manning his BBQ and cheering on his Buffs. GO HOUNDS!!!
