Deionte Buckley

Bio

Coach Buckley has been involved with football since 1st grade starting first as a student athlete.
Through the years Deionte Buckley was an impact player on every team he played on. Playing
HS at Warren Central High School where he won a State championship in 2010 and Also was
the starting running back there his Junior and Senior Year. During his time at Warren Central he
earned countless awards including Junior All State and All State Senior year. He eventually
became the number 1 running back in the state of Indiana and 31st in the country. His team
earned a #3 in the country ranking Nationally. From there he earned a Full Ride Scholarship to
the University of Cincinnati where he won a Big East Championship in 2012 and played as a
True Freshman. Coach Buckley went on to have some NFL workouts and participated in The
NFL Spring League. He also played professionally for the Green Bay Blizzard and Sioux City
Bandits Arena Football teams. With a decorated Football Career Coach Buckley decided to Get
into Coaching after having Stops at Shelbyville as Varsity Running backs coach, Warren Central
Assistant coach, and Liberty Prep academy junior College as the running back coach. Deionte
Buckley is a proud Father of 5 and continues to give back to the sport that provided him with so
much through his youth football camps named TheLegacyCamp where he puts on a community
based event for the youth to participate in and gain better skills and knowledge of the game of
football. He has been doing this for 5 years now and looks forward to continuing to grow the
youth camp in coming years! Coach Buckley is excited to join the Carmel Staff and looks
forward to a bright future in Coaching the Carmel Greyhounds!
