Coach Dillon Pierie has been teaching math and coaching football for 6 years. He spent his first 5 years at his Alma Mater, Munster High School, before coming to Carmel in 2024. During his playing career, Pierie played for 2 Indiana Hall Fame coaches, Head Coach Leroy Marsh and Offensive Line Coach Tom Largus. Pierie was an All-State defensive lineman as a junior and an All-State offensive lineman as a senior. He was selected as an Indiana North All-Star in 2015. After graduating from Indiana University, Pierie returned to coach at his alma mater where he worked on both sides of the ball. Pierie was appointed as offensive coordinator and play caller during his final season. In his one season as offensive coordinator, Munster broke several offensive team records, including the individual single-season rushing yardage record. He then moved to the Indianapolis area where he worked as a geometry teacher and Carmel's Assistant Defensive Line Coach in 2024.
I feel extremely lucky to be a part of Carmel High School and its football program. At this point of my career, I want to add value to my team in any way possible. My objective is to provide each child with tangible information that will help them succeed both on and off the field. I love football because it provided me incredible relationships and the sense of fulfillment that I think every young man is looking for. I hope to be a part of that for future generations of Carmel football players.
