
Bio
Coach Blankenship has been coaching for 7 years. Coach grew up in Hillsboro, Ohio. He played multiple sports in high school and was a walk-on at Evangel University, where he played wide receiver, as well as competed on the track team as a decathlete. He graduated with a Math Education Degree in 2018. Coach started his first six years at Marionville High School, in Marionville Missouri as the WR/DB coach and Special Teams coordinator. In his final year coaching there, the Marionville Comets won the Missouri 1A state championship. He then moved his family closer to his relatives and took a position coaching receivers at Carmel High school, where he currently resides.
Coach Blankenship is a man of faith and his family before football. His wife, Emily, and his 2 sons, Lavon and Murhpy, love being a part of the Carmel football program. Coach's wife is an elementary teacher in the same district, where she teaches 5th grade. His oldest son, Lavon, plays tight end for the Greyhounds on the JV team.
